Newyddion diweddaraf/Latest news

Due to the upcoming redevelopment of the Siawns Teg site in Newtown, we have been looking for an alternative venue for our Newtown meetings.  We would like to thank all at Siawns Teg for their support over the past few years, and of course we will stay in touch with them.  Our new venue will be Focus Newtown Enterprise Hub, third floor, Pryce Jones Building, Newtown.  The venue is fully accessible from the rear entrance and there is ample car parking for £2.  The meeting room is spacious and has good light for our arty activities.  The first Celf-Able meeting at the Hub will be March 25th, 11-3, all welcome.  We are really looking forward to developing a new relationship with the Hub.  There are lots of events and opportunities at the Hub that our members will be able to link into, to see what’s available visit https://focusenterprisehubs.wales/workshops-%26-events-1.

“The Hub is really looking forward to collaborating with Celf-able to host their inclusive art classes. We love the sense of community they are creating across Powys by bringing together people of all ages and abilities, artists and people who just want to give art a try and connect with others. We look forward to building upon this new collaboration by supporting activities related to raising the visibility of disability through the arts and entrepreneurship, discussing a potential exhibition at the Hub later in the year.”  Holly Jones, Engagement Coordinator at Focus Newtown Enterprise Hub

And we need you!  We are looking for volunteers who can help in a variety of roles, including session facilitators.  We meet in Newtown, Caersws, Welshpool, Llanfair Caereinion and Machynlleth.  The opportunity is ideal for anyone wanting experience in facilitating art sessions.  All you need is enthusiasm and a friendly, helpful, inclusive manner.  We are also looking for anyone with management expertise who would like to help with the development of Celf-Able. If you would like to find out about these and other roles please get in touch, 01938 810058, admin@celf-able.org

Come along and join in the creative buzz, new members always welcome.  We are funded by Fund in Wales, Powys Community Endowment Fund, Powys Church Acts Fund and Ashley Family Foundation.
